@davidhollenshead4892 I was doing some work in a water meter box for the local water utility. The meter was in the middle of her driveway. The owner pulled up in their hybrid, didn't even hear them... I just happened to step back and look behind me and see her. Made me jump. I finished my work closed the meter box and so she could park. And commented I heard nothing... she said she was on electric mode. I thought wow, they should consider adding a noise maker of some kind... something that hums or something. Hearing impaired would especially appreciate it. She said that was a good idea. They're neat stuff though... hybrid cars.
