  2. I'm sorry, but banks aren't really tightening. I have a credit card since May giving me 0% APR til November and an offer for over a year 0% APR introductory rate... I'm using the one I already have since April to run up food and other stuff excluding housing payments and utilities, and pushing that spent money over to 5% sweep account since May, and plan to use that "spent" money on credit in my bank over to my broker, and will pay it all off October a month ahead of time. Might as well make some interest on my spent money... and I get reward points at the same time that's about equal to that 5% interest return difference to the 0% APR. So I'm not seeing banks really tightening. My limits haven't fallen since 2020 when banks freaked out about a pandemic inducing a great depression. But then I've gotten my limit return to higher... and again another company is offering my $20K limit 0% APR over a year introductory period. Which I'm deciding whether to take them up on it or not... not sure right now. 15 months 0% APR on new charges introductory and $200 bonus if I spend $500 in the first 3 months, with 2% cash rewards, 0 membership fee. Kind of a decent offer.
