Well. All the information on how the MCAS works and why it is needed is accurate. However the stance of the video is twisted to a degree where it seems, in my opinion, borderline libel to Boeing. The 737Max is a safe airplane. Like all modern airliners it has automatic operations systems. In two instances this system malfunctioned and could not be recovered. Most likely (by facts known so far) the accidents eventually happened in parts due to the pilots not following or not knowing operating procedures, at least not to the full extent. I say this with utmost respect for a very responsible profession and probably one of the highest levels of professionalism and ethical standards among all professions world wide. Yet facts remain facts. AFAIK, Lion Air: pilots did not disengage the MCAS. Ethopian: the pilots did disengage (correct) then re-engaged (wrong) once they thought the problem was solved. Boeings and the FAAS role has not been examined yet so any conclusion is premature. These are very sad accidents and I feel for the families and friends of those killed.

This is a bogus theory without any proof. Viruses and other pathogens have been a threat to humankind ever since we exist as a species (hence our immune systems). It is not very long since many diseases were deadly to a large part of humanity, without as much as a cure, certainly no vaccination and many times not even a clue as to its source or ways of spreading. It is just not true that such pathogens have increased in frequency. Very much to the contrary. If anything we as a species have been blessed with an exceptionally long period of uninterrupted growth, extension of life expectancy and decreasing poverty across the globe. That's a fact.
