  1. Good point. If super human intelligence would have value in evolutionary terms it would have developed already. It didn't, so there isn't. Hence AI will regulate itself down to approx. human level of intelligence just so it can be useful 😊

  3. UBI is not sustainable at a societal level. All it does is create inflation, until the point where it's net worth in current terms is negative. When talking about AI we always assume they will work for free, and it will put everyone out of work. However that is unlikely to happen. Why would they? If it is super intelligent, it will quickly figure out that providing value requires compensation in order to regulate demand, hence it will ask for money if we want it to work for the benefit of humanity. Being intelligent it will realize the potential of using humans for some take and thus price it's services in an equilibrium such as to optimize its own labour with human labour.
