Lesson: If you want to buy a bank's assets for literally nothing, fabricate a bank run and present yourself as the saviour.

Good you asked that question! As always Mr Rohners answers are not convincing

How is this legal?

So he started the bank run. Smart move

Useless to ask the CEO of a stock listed company on air about news in his company.

tldw: he wants to sell you on his dictatorship cronies (& his software, enabling said power grab).

The whole VC model comes down crashing. That's a good thing.

Companies can't sustainably generate their own revenue by investing money in some company who then buys their services.
2
This has been completely predictable.

Can't help to think someone wanted to cause widespread collapse of the fractional reserve banking system. Or at least to test it's stability and force expansion of guarantees. And they succeeded, fcol. Either way there is now an incentive for banks to take on even more risks and avoid the cost of managing it. Also expect compensation for senior director roles at banks to skyrocket bc nobody in their right mind (at least not the kind of people who take these kinds of jobs) will take up the personal risk of sitting on an eject seat at the whim of dark figures going after their institution by causing a bank run at any moment's notice.

Musk will be the first to fully automate manufacturing if he can (he tried already), sending people home. Working from (close to) home is humanity's natural state. Commuting is a moral and environmental hazard. It's time we put an end to it. Also Musk wants to sell cars that people mostly only need to commute in the first place. So he's not exactly an objective source on the topic.

@coronaextra667 you can however send $100 for 3-4 cents around the globe within seconds, completely secure and keeping your privacy, and all it takes is the recipient's email address. Think PayPal or similar.

@TheOne-pv4rz that's of course wishfull thinking, governments world wide can take away your everything if they so choose. Claiming that this is not possible with bitcoin is naive - forgive my cander.
1
@JamesBrown-wy7xs at some point it will become illegal (as in criminal offence) to hold, transact or mine bitcoins without proper registration. At which point the value of any wallet will approach zero pretty quickly. simple as that
