Russell, Bounty is made by Mars Wrigley, as were all those other bars in the MiniS Mix box you pointed out.
Mars has 10 factories in Russia and the CIS, of which 3 are chocolate confectionery.
The others are petfood, Pedigree, Whiskas, Kitekat, Chappi, Sheba, Perfectfit, Royal Canin.
The other factories produce Skittles, 5S, Orbit, Hubba Bubba, Doublemint, Juicyfruit, Uncle Ben's and Sauces.

@Wlad-nc9ys I'm not suggesting guys like Sam, Myself, and others, who have made the move having Russian experience, a goal, a job, being patient and cautious, having a life plan.
I question people who choose to leave their native land, with no Russian language, no skills, no existing family, no Russian cultural experience, etc...
If the shoe was on the other foot, yours, how would you approach moving to a foreign country and having children to consider?
It is good that you are welcoming people, and Russia does need people. The official population has not had any growth since the 1980s.
I have never met a Russian who didn't love, help, and admire Foreigners.

I've been educated that it goes back to WWII. Many millions of young men died. So, there are still more women than men in Russia.
The makeup, hair, nails, clothing, heals, are to attract the best man possible, as less men = more competition with other women.
When they find a decent man, they don't give up on their looks and dress, like our Canadian girls typically do. My wife never wears jeans and track pants are for inside the house, or maybe comfort on a train or international flights. But, she changes into a dress before the flight lands 😂
Russian women aren't typically feminist. They are feminine and demand their man to be strong.

Pretty girls 🙂
Tanya remindes me of my wife in many ways. Especially, the comment about VIP tables, "If they don't want to, I will take one" 😂
If that doesn't work, "Oh my husband is a foreigner". That actually works 99% of the time, even now 👍🏼
The only thing I disagree with you Sam, about modern Russia, is some of the infrastructure. Municipal and secondary roads in Provincial Saratov and many places outside of Pitr and Moscow are in rough shape. Sidewalks can be horrific off the main streets. They flood over in Spring, and then freeze. Drainage and sewer systems are poor. I'm from Canada, climate is comparable, we don't have such problems. Accessibility for the handicapped ♿️ is a challenge as well.
All of these things are improving greatly, but there's much more to be done.
It does lend to a certain charm, though 🙂
Everything else you say about modern Russia is true... and in general, the women take pride in their appearance ❤

Fine, Sam I Am...
So the question is, why is this religious right wing Trumpster family being given 'preferential treatment' by the NN regional government?
We're you given this?
Do you not think, Sam, that they are pawns, propaganda?
I'm thinking so, and any right minded person can see this.
Oh, and Arend having his children on the roof of the house and in the bucket of the tractor without any safety harness'??
Do you think that's being a responsible parent??
Arend is a child in an adult body.
My Russian friends all laugh behind his back, and are pissed that their pensioner parents live on 20,000₽, while this foreigner family is being donated 100s of thousands by the State.
What a slap in the face to Rodina citizens.

Really Sam, Nastya is, "Negative", lol!
Really Sam??
Because she questions her government, while you cower??
Dude, everyone is Negative because they don't don't support Putin? Lol
Yea, you and all your idiots who came to Russia for 'FREEDUMB ' And how dare you question Nastya's negativity. You are the Foreigner living in Russia, not her!!
Ya, ya, you have citizenship, but Russians will always regard you as 'The British Foreigner in Vladimir".
Sorry.

Hey Russell, I work for Mars = M&Ms, Twix, etc... We were one of the first Western corporations to enter the CCCP!
We have many chocolate, foods and pet food plants in the FSU.
Like you, I'm married to a Russian, unlike you, I've never drank the Koolaid.
Nalvany and his people, who are true Russian patriots, that respect Russia law, will prevail and win this stupidity.

Nastya, this was very informative information 👍🏼
Men have to be cautious, indeed. Excuse the expression, 'Don't let your Little head do all the thinking for the Big head'.
That being said, there are sites that are legitimate. I'll say for sure, Elena's Models.
I met three Russian women over a period of 7 years, while I was also meeting Western women back in Canada. All 3 were 100% legitimate.
Most women get frustrated due to men not being sincere themselves.
One thing, if the woman is sincere, she will agree to meet you somewhere. Yes, pay for everything because it's basically a first date and she can't afford to travel to meet you. But, pay for her travel without handing over an absorbant sum of money. You can purchase all travel needs online, yourself.
If you've never met this woman, don't send money or pay pay for Babushka's medical treatments...
I never did the dating group trip thing to Russian cities. I think that's a ridiculous circus and women are indeed paid to attend, even married ones!
So, in 2014, I met my wife of 9 years. We have had a great and loving time together. Yes, she's Russian, so she's 99% of the time right 😉
Get to know her, her family, her friends, her coworkers...
Most importantly, get to know and understand her, her culture, and her Rodina.
Things can and do work out, but again, be due diligent 👍🏼🙂

Seryozha, find this beautiful Girl the best neurodoctor in Moscow. It's obvious she is strong, smart, and will come close to 💯 recovery at this age.
I have stories of doctors in Saratov, where my wife is from... for example, if it had been left up to Saratov doctors, she would have had a full cancer mastectomy of her left breast...
We, I, found her three specialist in Moscow. All three said, "No way a mastectomy!"
So, I arrived from Canada in January 2023, and took her to Moscow for a Lumpectomy surgery...
Two years later, a 💯 clean bill of health.
Lesson learned, do not listen to Provincial town or Village doctor 'Experts'!!!
Go to Moscow!!

This family doesn't represent the average Canadian.
They're religious fundamentalists and follow very conservative ideologies.
The parents are homophobes who believe that their children are in danger in Canada. Such silly and far-fetched fears.
Arend talks in contradiction. First he says that food in Russian grocery stores is 4 times cheaper than in Canada. Then he says he could make a lot of money raising livestock in Russia because the cost of meat in Russian grocery stores is comparable to that in Canada! 😃
And yes, Canada, in general, is more expensive than Russia. But its all relative because wages in Canada are higher than Russian wages.
This family comes to Russia with a lot of money selling their farm. Right off the bat, they have an advantage over the average Russian wage earner.
I've lived in Russia, I know what I'm talking about.
Arend has a lot to learn and has the mindset of a 30 something year old, with a lack of real world experiences outside of agricultural and religious.
He can make it, with the help of kind, helpful, and generous Russian people.
But again, he and his family are not an example of even 5% of Canadian families, nor Russian families.
So Russian people, take what Arend says about the corrupt West, while reminding yourself of his fundamentalist thoughts.
Also, why does his wife not say a word in this video? Is she not allowed? 🤔

@SamsRussianAdventures
Listen Sam, you know I'm the Canadian who's wife is from Saratov. I've been going to Russia since 2007, for my work and family. I met my wife in Canada in 2014. So yes, I'm somewhat of an expert like you.
There is a definite difference in the Boomer and Millennial generation.
Look at the Gen X and Zs in Russia... like my Kids, they're easy going, smiling and curious.
The older generation, they're much more reserved, shy and suspicious... probably due to being raised in Soviet times.
Am I right, or am I wrong? I've lived in Saratov, Moscow and Kirov. You even acknowledge that Moscovites are much different than Provincial city Russians.
You and I are both used to the very strong possibility of an older generation Russian not being bubbly and light hearted to strangers. You were a stranger 🤷🏼♂️
Does it happen all the time? Certainly not, but more often in Eastern Europe than Western Europe, North America, and Australia.
Like you, my friend, I love Russia 🇷🇺
