@dbm88 It's not a friendship club. Just like EU has differences among members.

The only tofu dreg I hear constantly these days is the Nasa leaking Starliner that is stranded in outer space.

Tofu Nasa Starliner. After years and billions spent on building it, it is now stranded and leaking in outer space.

@TeeHee-vo1bn True. Like their tofu Chang'e 6 lunar module that just came back from the far side of the moon with samples. Meanwhile the very superior built Nasa Starliner is stranded and leaking at the ISS. Maybe they could ask the Chinese to send their tofu Shenzhou spacecraft to rescue the 2 astronauts and bring them home.

Plenty do, including mine here in Indonesia. We just got our first high speed rail line completed by the Chinese last year. The first in Asean. Now Indonesians who work on the capital city of Jakarta can travel back to their hometown in Bandung within 45 minutes. A journey that took about 3.5 hours by road. Thanks to the Chinese engineers for making this possible.

@megatron6393 Look up the High speed rail project in Indonesia completed last year even with the covid lockdown. While the Americans are still struggling to lay any track on their Cdlifornia high speed rail project. Way behind schedule and way over budget.

@megatron6393 Indonesia high speed rail from Jakarta to Bandung started operations in Sept last year. They are running 40 trips daily due to high demand.

@Hkchinese888 We are paying for our high speed rail built under BRI. Due to the high demand the government is now considering whether to extend the line from Bandung where it now ends, to the port city of Surabaya. Travel has never been that comfortable and quick. A 3.5 hour road trip now reduced to 45 minutes by hsr. Thanks to Chinese engineers.

@The_SeoulJourner Lot of BS here. They dominate the market here in Asean because they are affordable and reliable. If they are as bad as what you said, why is EU and US so afraid of them coming and taking over their market. Biden had to rushed to impose 100% tariff for protection even when they are for sale there. Surely no one will buy such dangerous evs. No need for such high tariffs. Let the market decide. Am I right?

Its not a trap if the debt is not wasted on buying pricey western made weapons of war but rather used for infrastructure development.
1
The California high speed rail project is a prime example. Politicians together with consulting and engineering firms such the max out of this boondoggle of a project. Original cost of 33 billion dollars skyrocketed to estimated 128 billion dollars when completed. If it ever gets finished.
1
So who do you trust to build your infrastructure? The Americans? They can't even build a safe spacecraft for their astronauts.
1
The Peruvian people will benefit immensely from this port. No infrastructure no progress and remain poor. No one will come to listen to their problems and help except for China. Don't expect anything from US. They are only interested in selling expensive weapons and do regime changes.
1
Meanwhile US and French got kicked out of West Africa. Replaced by the Russians.
1
No worries. China has plenty.
1
How so? There are many thriving ports around the world. We have 3 here and each have their own share of business.

@nicholasfooong. .Like the 1.5 billion dollar tofu dreg Nasa Starliner that is now stranded and leaking in outerspace. Should have asked the Chinese to build it instead of Boeing. Would be much cheaper and leak proof.
1
@nicholasfooong. Nasa Starliner craft has a lot of tofu dreg parts. No wonder its stranded and leaking. Big mistake of giving the job to Boeing. The Chinese would have done it cheaper than the 1.5 billion dollars spent and it would be leakproof.
