@Hopper-n5f They were disappointed that he's not from China. For Americans, in general, Chinese means China.

@Hopper-n5f So you are saying this Singsporean CEO is actually not qualified to do the job. H was hired to avoid suspicions. Did you check his qualifications/work experience?

@pjacobsen1000 Of course. But as a safety precaution, never stand too close to the platform edge. Too many weirdos around. Unlike many other countries, NY subways do not have safety barriers to prevent commuters from being pushed over into the tracks. Already happened many times.

@TacticalMayo More than 50% of the world's top AI researchers are from China. The success of US AI companies like OpenAI are attributed to these Chinese researchers. So its no wonder the sudden emergence of Deepseek to unsettle the entire industry.
