@mike_w-tw6jd If they achieved 5 star safety ratings from Euro NCAP, there shouldn't be a problem meeting US standards.

Finally someone here got it spot on.
13
Yup. They are really spooked.

Very sad and tragic for the Slavic people. Hope both leader's come to their senses and sit down to negotiate an end to this mass slaughtering.
6
Why not. American hogs fed with American corn
6
Take back your garbage.
5
Does not apply to vassal states.
4
Not true. Plenty of room in Kansas, Nebradka, the Dakotas, Alaska. Welcome

@HondaRulzz4 Used to be under Ford ownership who made a mess of it. It nearly went into obscurity until Chinese company Geely bought over in 2010. The new owner resurrected the brand through capital injection and gave a free hand to the Swedes to continue to build as they have been doing in the past.
4
Before most definitely. But now not so. Plenty of examples where expensive does not mean top quality. 2:16 Like consumer drones.

Dont know about Boeing but China just bought 160 Airbus jets. They are also going to open a new assembly line in China for their A320. So Airbus is not going anywhere.

@JCarterme3531 Since I'm from this region, I would say little chance or none of this happening. I can't speak for my Asean neighbours but for Malaysia, most definitely. No foreign affairs officials from either Trump and Biden administration have visited us. They have gone to Spore, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia but avoided us. They know an American military presence is not tolerated here. Being an Islamic country we are neutral and friendly with both superpowers. ASEAN is not in a situation like the two puppets SKorea and Japan.

Not the same. The Taiwanese are divided. The pro China opposition party could win in the next coming Presidential election. They recently won big in their local elections, taking 13 out of 21 cities. They control internally. Only the President's Office is left.
2
If they shoot down my kid's balloon they are looking at a million dollar law suit.
2
No actually, they must be laughing themselves silly
2
Using tariff as a protectionist weapon cannot be good in the long run. The glaring downside is the domestic industries becoming less efficient and innovative. No competition breeds complacency. Domestic consumers will be the ultimate losers.
2
Another one will take his place. Just like iSIS , Al Qaeda

@nakoahumphrey7216 Even Boeing planes have Chinese parts.
1
American tourists always think they are untouchable and not answerable to anyone anywhere they go. Like what Stallone did in Australia. Having a gun in his luggage and not declaring it. Claiming he thought it was not required as everyone knows who he was..
1
Better start to love eating your soy beans. Like Asians do.
1
Only if they go in recklessly like those before them. They have the benefit of hindsight. Knowing the Chinese they will go in with offers of big infrastructure loans under BRI. Afghan mineral resources in exchange. Loans better than bombs and bullets. Money talks bs walks
1
No one should fear competition and put up protectionist tools to block it. To outperform the rest of the world in efficiency and innovation is what makes America a superpower. Not ducking behind trade barriers for safety.
1
Neither did Afghanistan.
1
After all the destruction done to the Middle East and shifting your pollution overseas by shifting your manufacturing , its advisable to reserve your comments.
1
Launch again delayed due to technical issue.
1
@RickDirt11 Pretty direct and clear warning. That's how to make Iran understand. No ambiguity.
1
@cyclops9125 The Chinese will bomb Kabul with roads, bridges, power stations, high speed trains
1
Russia is not Serbia.
1
Paranoia USA. Better start making all these stuff yourself then.
1
Not entirely true. The comments I read on social media overwhelmingly approve of it.
1
Not so . Many countries already have done so including mine. For example if you are a teacher who refused the vaccine you can't return to the classroom. Most dine in premises here only allow vaccinated customers.
1
@lynnm.9243 Depends on how you look at the situation. Here in South East Asian countries most ppl consider this a public health crisis and are willing to forego their freedom for the time being. Of course we are not forced to but for those diehards, they will find daily life very inconvenient.
1
Of course it is. Nothing to do with pilot skills or poor maintenance.
1
Why would they want their biggest customer and debtor to fall. Don't make sense.
