The new owner resurrected the brand through capital injection and gave a free hand to the Swedes to continue to build as they have been doing in the past.

  6. Using tariff as a protectionist weapon cannot be good in the long run. The glaring downside is the domestic industries becoming less efficient and innovative. No competition breeds complacency. Domestic consumers will be the ultimate losers.

  7. No one should fear competition and put up protectionist tools to block it. To outperform the rest of the world in efficiency and innovation is what makes America a superpower. Not ducking behind trade barriers for safety.
