  4. Live in China for a couple of years. Used to be bad But vastly improved when I visited back in 2015 till 2019. Just before lockdown. Beijing has far more good days than bad. Which occurs usually during winter due to unfavourable meteorlogical conditions and increase in fossil fuel usage to heat homes. I actually experienced quite good winter weather there during my last visit. China has made tremendous effort over the years and leads the world in renewable energy.

  5. They have to until these coal plants can be replaced by their renewable sources from solar, wind, hydro and nuclear. This will take a lot of time. China is also leading the rest of the world by a wide margin in generating green energy.
