  2. Here in Thailand Byd Atto 3 is the best selling ev since launch in Nov 2022. Have not heard of any fire so far. Their blade battery is the safest battery tech available. That's why Tesla use them in their model Y.

  4. China is the largest supplier of car parts in the world. In fact US car makers rely on them , not the other way around. High tariff on Chinese car imports is the only effective weapon they have.
