  1. Because it's not true. The source of this story is apparantly from some unnamed US military person or persons. Which means its highly unreliable. Those who know something about Chinese subs will tell you they don't build them in the Yangtze River region. Which is where the blurry pic of some cranes lifting some object was taken. Their sub building shipyard is further north in the Bohai Sea area. Precisely in a place called Huludao in Liaoning province.
