  1. Huawei has the third largest share of the smartphone market in China. They are also no 1 in their premium category. Their Mate 70 will be released in November to take more market share. They will do more than fine in the phone and electronic sectors in China. It's afterall the biggest smartphone market in the world.

  6. Will take over Android in China since no uses Google there. A billion devices there already have them. As for elsewhere, we just have to wait and see. The most likely place to happen will be here in South East Asia.

  11. I have two Huawei phones. Nova 5T and Nova 10SE. Both have pre-installed Google Chrome and Gmail. Thats right. You heard me. So I missed nothing. Solid hardware as always. I have been using the 5T for 5 years now and works like new. Despite a cracked screen. Has a very fast 5 year old Kirin 980 7nm chip.

  13. Despite all the sanctions, Huawei has the third largest share in the Chinese market. They are also no 1 in the premium category, surpassing Iphone. Their new Mate 70 is coming in Nov and you can expect them to climb to no 2 by year end. Like Blackberry? Not a chance. Even Washington with all their resources could not bring them down. They are too big, too high tech, and too diversified. Smartphone is just one business and not the one that brings in the most revenue.
