Say that to VW and Elon Musk. They will think you are crazy.

So you gonna take the word of a banker? My banker also told me Russia will never invade Ukraine and my Russian investments are safe.

Sorry not happening. VW justed invested billions in ev production in Hefei China. Not back home in Germany. Wise decision.
3
Wishful thinking at best.

Do your own laundry then.

According to this channel. Reality maybe something else. 2024 should be interesting.

I was there as well during Christmas. Beijing weather was beautiful. Not a trace of that notorious winter smog. Clear blue skies. Had a great time .Didn't feel such mood on the streets though.

Everyone thinks so. Until they check the reality on the ground in Vietnam. Underdeveloped infrastructure and frequent power outages are just 2 common complaints from foreign investors.

@slammerlo510 German automakers made a fortune for decades selling their luxury brands to the largest car market in the world. Did the Chinese cry about this ?
1
It made some countries rich for sure. Who wouldn't want to do business with the largest consumer market in the world. Germany and Australia are two prime examples. Made tons of money for decades from their luxury cars and raw commodities.
1
@bockscar1 Not entire true. Just ask VW and they will tell you Germany is not the future for their ev production. It's Hefei China for them
1
Tell that yo VW. They have just invested billions to shift their ev production to Hefei China. Future is not in Wolfsburg Getmany. If stay on, willl go down eventually.
1
CIA was also eavesdropping on her phone. Probably the reason why she rather trust the Chinese than the Americans.
1
Merkel knows who wiretapped her phone.
1
That's not what Tesla or VW or many foreign companies think . The Germans made tons of money for decades selling their luxury cars in the biggest car market in the world. Are you serious?
1
Yet VW and Audi invested billions to ensure they have a future in the ev industry , in Hefei and Beijing.
1
They go there for a reason. Ask the German automakers or Tesla if they can sell as much in places like Asean or Down Under or Pakistan or......
1
@masque9446 India? You sure? You probably know why Tesla is not setting up their gigafactory there despite the potential to sell more, given the population size. Size is one time while purchasing power is another. Ford and GM left India because of their govt extreme import restrictions and high cost of production.Indian market is one tough nut to crack. Don't pin too much hope on them taking up the lost market share in China.
1
That's why VW flee to Hefei China to ensure their survival in the ev Era. Stay home and surely go under.
1
VW was wise enough to flee to Hefei China for their survival. They just invested billions to shift their ev production there. If stay in Wolfsburg, will surely go under.
1
But it's widely practiced. Not unique to China.
1
@lance8080 Will they accept 2 dollar hour pay rate?
1
Global car sales for 2023 China : 30.5 million US : 15.5 million Europe ; 10.5 million Are you sure? Nothing gets done?
1
It's supposed to be over since the nineties. According to China experts. Manage your expectations please.

@liberumoratio1704 Chill bruh. Wake me up when this happens. Too many false alarms.
