So you are saying US has nothing to fear. China is no threat. They are super weak. Taiwan is safe. US should focus on Ukraine and Gaza instead. No need for any military bases or their naval fleet in SCS. Better take their Navy and deal with the Iranians and the Houthis in the Red Sea.

Do you know the most crash prone 5th gen fighter jet in the world is the very expensive F35? During a recent Congressional hearing their airforce officials admitted that at any one time, only 55% of their entire F35 fleet are combat ready. The rest are grounded for technical and software issues. You must have also read of the recent US warship collision with another cargo ship in Egypt, in broad daylight.
