  1. I love travelling on their high speed train whenever visiting China. Piece of engineering marvel. You should try. Quick , smooth, quiet, and super efficient. Ignore this nonsense spewing channel. You will enjoy the ride through the beautiful countryside.

Do you know the California High Speed project has been going on since it was proposed back in the late nineties. It finally got stated in 2015 and after almost a decade not a single track has been laid. The original cost of 33 billion dollars is now estimated to balloon to 128 billion dollars .Supposed to complete by 2029, but I highly doubt they will make it. They now doing the easiest path of the route which is mostly flat. Wait till they hit the mountains and start tunneling. Massive corruption and inefficient project management

  3. Really? Feasibility studies are just as alien in the US and its much worse. You should do a bit of research into the California High Speed rail project conceived in the nineties and only started in 2015. The original route was shortened due to ballooning cost. From original estimate of 35 billion dollars it could cost 128 billion dollars when finished. After almost a decade of work, not a single track has been laid. Their projected completion date in 2029 ( 14 years to build 275 km line) is highly improbable to achieve. They are still working on the easiest part of the route, which is generally flat. Wait still they hit the mountains and do the tunnelling. Good luck to them. Maybe they should hire the Chinese to help speed up the progress and reduce cost.
