The fastest in the world that will be commercialized in matters of weeks this year. I wouldn't call this a cheap knock off when no one else has passenger carrying high speed trains that go this fast. This launch is in addition those surprise Christmas sightings of 2 new and possibly 6 gen fighter jets/bombers or whatever they are. They sure caused a media storm. Lets say if this is true, it sure didn't stop them from building and launching their Tiangong space station or sending their Chang'e lunar module to the far side of the moon. It sure didn't prevent them from forging ahead with their high speed rail technology. You may have read a couple of days ago, they are putting into commercial service their latest high speed train CR450 that can hit maximum speed of 450km/h.
