  1. True. German luxury automakers are in a dire situation in China. More than 50% of new car sales are now evs. VW wants to close some of their factories back home. First time in their long history.

  2. ​ @OldWarriorFella  You probably missed the mega ev fire caused by a Mercedes ev recently in SKorea. It destroyed 140 cars parked together in a basement carpark. Due to this incident, SKoreans are now hesitant to switch to evs. You can thank Mercedes.

  5. The big boys are expanding overseas. CATL and BYD are way ahead of the rest. You won't go wrong using their batteries. Tesla can vouch for their quality.

  6. The only reason why they impose more tariffs is to protect their own industry. They know they can't compete with better built and more affordable Chinese evs. Without high tariffs they will be demolished. Elon Musk already warned them about this.

  8. China monopolises the manufacture of solar panels in the global market. The few non Chinese manufacturers left are barely hanging on. Yet solar panels have never been cheaper. This is a fact. We can thank the Chinese for enabling the rest of the world to go green. If left to the Europeans or Americans, not many will be able to afford to install them.
