  1. There's never enough or sufficient energy supply in China. New energy generation will never be enough to replace natural gas or fossil fuel. At least not at the moment. Their zero emission target date is 2060 or maybe earlier. If they turbo charge their new energy timetable with more installation and commissioning. This pipeline is also a good option from a national security perspective. Less exposed to external threats and disruptions if supply is shipped via tankers.
