They know their own brands are no match in price or quality to these Chinese evs. Even Elon Musk has warned that without trade barriers, non Chinese ev makers will be demolished. He should know, seeing BYD breathing down his neck and soon surpassing Tesla. Yes the same BYD he laughed at some years ago. He's not laughing anymore as he has to rely on them for their blade batteries.
