  1. You only have to look at the smartphone market to see where Japan now stands. Most of their illustrious elecyronic brands have disappeared. Sansui, Sanyo, Nakamichi, Pioneer, Onkyo, Akia, Hitachi. Probably only Sony and Panasonic are left. For the car industry they are still king of ICE. And will remain so for thd foreseeable future.
