  27. I think you should leave out SKorea and Vietnam. SKorea is not part of this pact for a reason. Vietnam is neutral and China is their largest trading partner . None of the other Asean members are involved for the same reason. Even though 2 of them have SCS issues. All of them except for Phillippines are members of the BRI.

He was invited by PM Li Qiang to discuss mostly trade relation issues. That's why he landed in Chongqing first and then Shanghai and finally meeting Xi in Beijing.

  49. You are not serious. Just ask the German automakers if they can live without the Chinese market. VW, Mercedes, and Audi already invested heavily there. They are using Chinese ev platforms to develop their own evs. They see no future doing this back home.
