@DennisMoore664 Elon zmusk thought it was funny to laugh at BYD some years ago. Today they are his biggest competitor and he has to rely on them for their blade batteries. So yes US can learn a few things from them.

alloutofbubblegum7271 All the time. Whatever infrastructure China builds , no matter how important it maybe for the recipient country, it is always qualified by the western media caution: but at what cost?

@paulhargreaves1497 Not really. Just look at the EV industry. Why fo you think the VW has invested a billion dollars in setting up an ev research and development center in Anhui China, rather than back home. German luxury car makers survival depends on whether they can hang on to their biggest market China.

Could also apply to US. Now they are scrambling between Isreal, Saudi and Egypt trying to mediate.

IMEC is still very much a concept. Like Biden Build Back Better. BRI is ten years old.

@paulhargreaves1497 If you know what's happening in Sweden and France, you may want give it more thought. The Gaza conflict may trigger another mass exodus to Europe.

You can't export infrastructure unless it is needed elsewhere. Bangladesh and Croatia needed a bridge while Algeria needed a national highway. Or UAE needed a railway network to connect the whole country. They all call on Chinese companies to help build them. Not American or European companies for obvious reasons.

Cope bruh. Your infrastructure is crumbling

No Biden Build Back Better is the real joke. His term is almost finished but build nothing so far.

IMEEC is very much a concept. Like Biden's Build Back Better. Whether it will materialise like BRI remains up for discussion. The Palestine conflict has been ongoing since the formation of Isreal. Long before BRI came into being.
