  1. ​ @AllieRogers-mq1kf  They made a fortune for decades selling their luxury cars in the largest car market in the world. Thinking this will never end. Hubris, complacency, etc.

  2. They are already doing this, but in China. They invested in Chinese ev maker Xpeng as well as setting up an ev research and development centre in Hefei China. They can't do all this in Germany because most of the ev innovations are happening elsewhere.
