@Ptolemy336VV Russia has more than just oil and gas. They recently signed a 12 year deal to export 70 million tons of grains, legumes, and oil seeds to China. This deal is worth potentially 26 billion dollars. Nothing can replace food requirements.

@JoseFerreira-zb7wh Australia tried that. To reduce reliance on China. Didn't work. No one else buys their mineral resources, dairy products wines, and seafood in the volume that China did. So like Scholz, their PM made a trip to Beijing.

Not just Germsny but many others. Prime example is Australia. Talks tough but totally dependent on the hand that feeds them and made them rich. If you follow the commodity market you will know their biggest fear is China diversifying their sources of iron ore purchases to other countries.
