  1. Sorry no. Byd is the best selling ev here in Asean, especially in Thailand. Top three best sellers are Chinese, follow by Tesla. Not many in this region can afford overpriced Taycan or Etron. Infact Byd is building a factory here to service the region. There is plenty of demand here.

  2. Come over to Asean and drive. As late as Dec 2022, you dont see a single Chinese ev on the road. Today Byd evs are everywhere in Thailand and Malaysia. Naturally Japanese ice cars will continue to dominate for the time being.

  4. Where I am from , many of our state sponsored businesses went bust. Billions of taxpayers money diverted or just flushed down the toilet. Please look up 1MDB scandal as just one prime example.
