@k-dawgkramer4125 China operates two ports on the opposite sides of the canal, under concession from the Panamanian govt. China does not have any controlling intetest in the canal itself. Neither are they running it.

 @TheRetiredEmployee It's yours as long as you can hold on to it. Want to spend another 2 trillion dollars and 20 years holding on to Kabul then gave it back to the rightful owners?
