@Realisticautism Many Chinese evs have achieved 5 star safety rating from Euro NCAP . In fact they are a lot safer and better built than some European brands. Why do you think EU is in panic mode now about Chinese imports. If they are trash, no one will buy them. Not matter how cheap. So EU have nothing to worry.

@mikestewart4752 Byd Seal just made it to the top 3 finalist list for the World Car of the Year award. It was just announced at the Geneva Car Show. They also made it to the finals of the European Car of the Year award. Must be some awesome ev.

Euro is way behind in ev tech. VW and Audi have justed invested billions to set up their ev research and development centres in Hefei and Tianjin China. They know where the action is happening and its not in Wolfsburg or Stuttgart.
