  2. As someone who has worked in the oil rich country of Brunei in South East Asia, I can give an unbiased opinion about China built bridge. This country is split into two parts by neighboring Malaysia. So the people there have to clear immigration and customs there before they could reach the other side of their country. A real hassle if they need to travel frequently. But all this was solved and done away with when their pride , the Temburung sea crossing bridge was completed in 2020 connecting both parts without having to clear immigration in Malaysia. The Brunei givt contracted the Chinese to build this all important bridge that not only crosses over the ocean but skirts above the pristine protected mangrove swamps lining the coastal area. A piece of bridge engineering marvel that brought so much relief to the citizens. The Chinese did an almost identical project in Croatia, the Peljesac bridge. This bridge connects the northern part of the country to the southern part. Just like Brunei, the people there have to clear immigration with neighboring Bosnia H before they can go south. The bridge was completed and opened for traffic in March 2022. There are many other examples like the just completed Padma Bridge in Bangladesh. A very technical challenging bridge to build over the fast flowing Padma( Ganges) River. It was opened hor traffic in June 2022 Yes we maybe prejudiced against China built projects and think they are poorly done. But it's no denying they are the best bridge builders in the world. Which is why many countries trust them with their mega projects.

  6. They don't. I have been a visitor there for many years. Both in big cities and the nterior. Of course there is still poverty everywhere. But large-scale homeless? I couldn't spot. No one there lives in tents on the streets. Like you see in many American cities.

  7. Whenever I visit China, never miss to travel on their amazing high speed train. Crisscross the country in relative comfort. A 1300km journey from Hangzhou to Beijing took just 4.5 hours. Piece of engineering marvel.

  9. I understand your hsr is a huge success from day one. The daily frequency of trips has to be increased due to overwhelming demand. Should thank the Chinese for completing the project successfully with dome cost overrun.If you have an American company building it, the chances it will still be a work in progress, with no idea when it will be completed. The cost will probably be tripled as well.Just have a look at their California hsr project. From the original cost estimate of 35 billion dollars, it is now estimated to cost 128 billion dollars when finished in mid 2028.

  20. Not true. TESLA is using their battery as well. Here in Thailand Byd Atto 3 is the best selling ev for past 6 months. Never heard of any fire here so far. Their blade battery is the safest one available.
