@mysterious_____ They are all Chinese. Reminds me of North and South Vietnam. The americans couldn't tell the difference between a communist vietnanese and a non communist vietnamese. Because there is none.If China decides to invade, Taiwan could also have to deal with an internal threat from those who support reunification with the mainland.

@mysterious_____ Thats the current govt, just like the US backed South Vietnam govt. When there is no full support from the populace (like the Ukrainians) a repeat of the Vietnam saga can happen. President Tsai still has to stand for re election. She may or may not win agst pro China Koumintang party candidate. Already her party lost big time in their recent local elections to this pro China KTM. She actually resigned as her party chief. How this will play out will only be known when China actually makes the move. Now its just s lot of sabre rattling and posturing from both sides.
