Back in June 2011 when the Beijing - Shanghai high speed rail service launched their maiden trip, she was on board this brand new train and observed there were very few passengers. She remarked she had doubts this will be successful, as most Chinese would not be able to afford the fare. Fast forward today. This line is the busiest and most profitable route for the Chinese railways. It runs 41 daily trips to the two cities and carried more than 50 million passengers last year. She has probably learned by not commenting about the viability of this robotaxi service. She didn't want to wrong again.

  2. Just like the first car ride during the horse and carriage era. Many were convinced its dangerous to go faster than the carriage. But look at it now. The same with robotaxi. All it takes is time.

  4. This is how humanity progresses. Like the Wright Brothers taking the first manned flight back in 1903. Many would have thought they were dumb to try to imitate the bird. God would have given us wings if we are meant to fly.

  5. ​ jasonlucas2328  Work in progress . Can only get better with time since the service is only available in certain areas. Not city wide yet like a regular taxi where you just wave one down on the street.

  6. When ev charging used to take 8 hours, now you can fully charged within 30 mins. Time will tell.
