  1. Sure you can do that. But most components will be sourced from China for final assembly in India and Vietnam. Which is happening right now. Like for example solar panels made in Vietnam and destined for the US market. As for India, they are highly dependent on China. They are incurring a trade deficit of 100 billion dollars annually with China. This is mostly due to importing of electrical and electronic parts for their assembly of finished products. The supply chain will still be in China. Expecting both countries to build their own and decouple completely from China is a very tall order. Possible but will require huge amount of time, expertise and capital. So much for a quick decoupling. Wont happen overnight.
