  2. Not true. Maldives is an internationally well known holiday destination. The Russians are the largest group of foreign tourists, followed by China.

  3. Why would other tourists be put off by Chinese presence. They are already the second largest group of foreign visitors , after the Russians. They have been visiting Maldives for a long time. Now more will go.

  4. Dont count on Isreal. Your country just condemned them at UN. Isreal has too many things to deal with at the moment. Fighting a second war front in Lebanon while trying to deal with Hamas.
