  11. ​ @matj12  Unofficial gathering of Christians? That's odd. I attended last year's Christmas eve mass in Shanghai. It was crowded with many exparts among the worshippers. The following week I took a trip to Hangzhou and there is a Charismatic church run by an American missionary, behind my hotel. The staff invited me to join their service on Sunday. According to a study by Boston University there approximately 100 million Christians in China. It's the fastest growing religion in an officially atheist China.
