Instead we pegged our currency against the us dollar. A daring move that saved the nation from humiliating conditions / restrictions and hardship imposed by lenders if we have accepted.

China is India's largest partner, despite border tensions and boycott campaigns. They want your market and you rely on them for goods and materials to support your own industries. China has their own 1.4 billion citizens to look after. They don't need to deal with more than they are handling now.

  13. Trade barriers to prevent market access? You can buy Iphones, Tesla evs as well as other American cars like Buick, Ford and GM in China. But you cannot find any Chinese phones or evs in US. The latest ban issued just before he leaves the WH, Biden has outlawed any vehicle with Chinese software from coming into the country. That's beside the 100% tariff imposed earlier. The next target are Chinese commercial and consumer drones. Are you sure you are not referring to the US instead?
