Have been hearing about the imminent China invasion for past 50 years plus. Now I am in my 70s. Doubt it will happen in my lifetime. Seen so many of these predictions.

@Kalimdor199Menegroth Once its built they cannot just pack it up and ship back to Beijing. Like if you borrow from the bank and cannot pay, you can negotiate to defer or extend the period whatever. Till you are able to. Now that the infrastructure is completed ,when there was none before, use and manage it well for the progress of the country. No infra no chance of prosperity. The Greek port of Piraeus is a good example. How Chinese investments and efficient management help turn it around.

@Kalimdor199Menegroth Not true bruh. Locals are hired. Chinese management. The port is going under before the Chinese came. Do you have a better option? No one is willing to put one's money where one's mouth is. Except the Chinese.

I wouldn't bet my money on it. China have more to lose. The current sabre rattling approach is better strategy.
