  1. Hot weather Christmas is vile. We pretend it's not happening by NEVER serving "summer" food or eating outdoors. Strictly hearty roasts and heavy traditional deserts, eaten indoors in low light, with candles, and a crackling fire as soundtrack. The more European traditional the better. Bring a salad or seafood to our house on Christmas day, and that'll be your last invitation 😛
