It's not about forcing the govt to help (never going to happen), it's about each of us making sound choices throughout our lives, so that we can afford retirement. People are SO spoiled now, that they won't do the long term planning and hard yards. They expect "society" to rescue them.

  7. Exactly - you had the sense to act on those warnings ten years ago. That's what we're supposed to do, as adults who aren't rich. People who pretend nothing bad will happen, are reckless and delusional. They are NOT who we should pity.
