  1. Ryan, you bring up a great point and the reason why people are shocked to see Karl Marx show up is because communism is the supreme definition of telling people what they want to hear. It is a classic bait and switch. Communism is not possible. It's a utopian ideal completely unachievable that is meant to get everybody to give their stuff away so they can implement a dictatorial and oppressive regime and sustain themselves with everybodys stuff. Communism only works when human beings can be decent to one another and human beings...I don't feel are capable of such things.

  2.  @peterbotev8296 i simply don't think communism the way it is idealistically outlined is possible. I think its a utopian society that fools people into surrendering all their stuff to a fascist who pretends that they want to implement communism. It seems like a power grab, bait and switch to me. Also, I've seen it work like a power grab and a bait and switch. I haven't seen one communist society that is thriving and is not authoritarian/oligarchic.
