  1. THANK YOU! I have had great success by weaving tests for empathy into conversations and situations. I use it in dating, work and friendship. The techniques you suggest to look for are techniques I've personally used, (ex...no pun intended...flipping the interview)...guess who taught me how to do that? My ex...who might be a psychopath.   2. I just worry this self reporting data for undergrads is socio economically skewed. Most of the people abusing animals and fighting animals aren't undergraduates. Children who abuse animals typically have conduct disorders and a higher drop out rate so most don't make it to undergraduate programs. I'd like to redo the data based on criminal data from the juvenile justice system or poll social workers or DFCS or juvenile detention centers. I love that you are going into the profiteering portion of animal abuse. This is exactly what I hoped to hear you bring up Thank you! In the case of Nikolas Cruz, he shot a chicken with a BB gun I think had the police called but was never arrested. He discusses it in his interview. I do believe he had psychopathic tendencies or a predisposition but I believe he would have developed full blown psychopathic traits later in his late 20s if no intervention occured. I believe he was suffering from a temporary psychosis from several retraumitizations from loss of adopted family members and abandonment of his brother. This isolation and abandonment started manifesting in auditory delusions and neurotic tendencies stemming from his initial development of attachment disorder. I believe the loss of his loved ones and reliance upon his technology during the Cambridge Analytica social media microtargeting campaign provoked this act of mass violence. When you think of how quickly legislation was proposed directly afterwards and how everything became a media circus, I have no other recourse but to assume that one of those firms (Russian Financed) was responsible. People had hoped we would make a rash decision in the heat of emotion on gun restrictions. They also had a Russian spy affiliated with the NRA that is being released...tomorrow, actually. All of that gun owner data combined with the microtargeting capabilities...I think these shooters are groomed through this process. I would like you to read Wiley's new book if you could about Cambridge Analytica and their use of psychometric data. I really want your opinion on these school shooters and how microtargeting children can produce this kind of mass violence.
