Coca-Cola went with those Colors because it was convenient to their Corporate Color Scheme (Pun Intended). They certainly weren't going with my personal favorite the "Green & White Father Christmas of Britain & Eireland", now were they ?! As such wasn't an easy marketing stunt !.........The Red & White Santa Claus is actually GREEK & TURKISH. AS THE ORIGINAL ST. NIKOLAS WAS ACTUALLY A TURKISH PRIEST IN THE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH ! Giving Fresh Fruit to Good Little Boys & Girls in Cold as Hell Northern Europe from his much Warmer Homeland. Also The N. American & Coca-Cola Santa Claus were all borrowed LIKE MOST ANGLO-SAXON AMERICAN THINGS FROM THE DUTCH.......SINTERKLAAS.......Yes, "Black Pete" is quite disturbing !
