The very "Conservative" Vineyard and Winery Owners of Ione, CA, many of whom are Republican or Conservative Democrats no less put insane pressure on the City/County of Sacramento to permanently shut down "Rancho Seco, Nuclear Power Plant" after seeing what happened with all the Farmers around Pripyat permanently losing their land. I'm very proud of the people of Ione, CA and the Farmers whom I may or may not "normally" agree on politics with having accomplished this !

I'm glad the Vineyard and Winery Owners around Ione, CA pressured the City/County of Sacramento to close "Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant" down right after Chernobyl...........And yes, after all those poor Farmers losing their land permanently around Fukushima and Pripyat BOTH, I think they made the right decision in Ione !
