@adamredwine774 you are an excellent example of why grade inflation is so problematic, in the short term but also for society more broadly. No one ever bothered to tell you when you're wrong, which has led to one dimensional thinking. A "minor in history" doesn't provide you with secret or special insight. History is about impermanence, discontinuity, and understanding various interpretation within particular contexts. Jumping through hoops means little when all you have to show for it are certificates and diplomas.
