  1. Humans do NOT have a gender, chosen or otherwise. Gender is for inanimate objects and concepts, like electrical connections and languages. Humans have a sex, and it is not possible to change your sex. At least not with current technology. You can change your name, you can change your clothes, you can change your talk, you can change your walk, you can change your hair, but none of these things is the same as changing one's sex.
