  1. I knew about all of this (except the saffron scams, which I never use/think about anyways), and I'm pretty selective of the olive oil I buy. Most imitation "olive oils" taste peppery. The real stuff doesn't taste like that at all.

  2. I'm lucky... there's a honey store in my city that sells fabulous, unpasteurized, locally-sourced (by themselves) honey. I just cannot imagine buying anything else!
