  1.  @kouta43210  ALL of our rights and freedoms have reasonable limitations. You have freedom of speech but not the right to say absolutely anything you want at any time. You have freedom of movement but there are some places you're not allowed to go—people in prison have lost that right more-or-less entirely. You have freedom of religion but you don't have the right to perform human sacrifices. You have the right to defend your property but you don't have the right to booby trap it to ambush law enforcement. Etc etc etc. Government is a necessary evil. The limits of our rights are a necessary evil. These limits guard against chaos. The Supreme Court here was obviously wrong, but eminent domain should only be a last resort. “Government is a thorny bush that needs pruned back from time to time lest it bleed its citizens to death.”

  3.  @crissd8283  Exactly right. That's what is so important about an Article V Convention of States. Such a convention can propose amendments to the Constitution by completely going around Congress. The states then can ratify them (or not) as if Congress had proposed them. Congress will NEVER vote to take away their own power!

  4.  @cw4091  There are several things we can try. Voting does not quell tyranny, so elections—as already shown to be rigged and illegal—are hopeless at this point. Step 1: Article V Convention of States. We The People are supposed to be the term limits and the controls on our government, but we're not. Career politicianism is toxic and immoral. Step 2: Convene an Extraconstitutional Convention of Governmental Recourse. This would work probably similarly to a Convention of States, but with the goal to decide whether the federal government should be outright dissolved as provided for in the Declaration of Independence. This committee should outline the tyranny and abuses suffered by the states just as the Declaration did. It must prove prudence. Our right to alter or abolish our own government cannot be infringed. The Declaration is not a legal document, per se, but we would not have a country without it, and it clearly reinforces this right that even eclipses the Constitution. The tricky part of this is establishing a new government with the same level of wisdom our founding fathers had. Step 3: Red Day. A revolution or coup. This would be extremely disappointing, tricky, and messy. But, ideally, the same goal as Step #2.
