  1. The majority of lawyers are average to good people, underpaid and overworked. There are still many overpaid and sleazy lawyers, but they are not all like that.

  3. As a rule of thumb (literally and figuratively), you're not allowed to sue the government, unless they let you.

  4. You should trust no government or government entity blindly. The FDA can be correct about things, but everything it says should be scrutinized and taken on its own merit. You should resist completely believing or disbelieving anyone or entity.

  7. I've received two Class Action notices this year, one suggesting I could get up to $16 and another up to $22.

  8. The loser usually does pay the legal fees. That's how the lawyers get paid in these cases!
