  3. But yellow is like red. It means stop....unless if you're already in the intersection or too close, then keep going. One should make every effort to stop for a yellow light. (Yellow light is properly called Amber, for those Trivial Pursuit nerdists.)

  4.  @coreykirkpatrick4392  Amber is the formal name, but yellow is what it's often called. Perhaps you're not aware but the traffic signal color really is amber. If it were a true yellow, it would have much less red in it and resemble more a common children's depiction of the (yellow) sun. The five official traffic signal colors in the United States: 🔴Red = Stop; 🟡Amber (yellow) = Caution; Stop before entering intersection; 🟢Green = Proceed if clear; 🟠Portland Orange = Don't Walk; ⚪Lunar White = Walk.
