  1. She needs to sue the driver of the jeep or whatever it was, and/or his insurance company. This is the whole point of having insurance, for when stuff like this happens. We don't know fore sure whether the other driver was negligent, but it's definitely his fault.

Roundabouts should minimize conflict points, not exacerbate them. "Ahead" arrows should mean you stay on the roundabout, Right arrows mean you exit it. Left arrows don't make any sense. The key to this roundabout is the lane arrows marked before entering it: left lane shows going around the roundabout, right lane shows you drive straight through. No wonder the white minivan was confused. The arrows in the right lane just before the exit in the video seem to indicate traffic in that lane must exit, but there's an arrow just after the exit, and the originating pavement markings mean you just drive through the conflict point to drive "straight" on the same road. This is awful design.
